EASTERN TURKEY

The eastern section of Türkiye provides some truly exciting birding opportunities and on this new tour we will focus on the specialities not possible on our regular SE Turkey tour. High on our wishlist will be Grey-necked Bunting and Mongolian Finch, along with Caucasian Black Grouse, Semicollared Flycatcher, Green Warbler and Mountain (Caucasian) Chiffchaff. There's a superb supporting cast of other species in the same region including Marbled & White-headed Ducks, Dalmatian Pelican, Pygmy Cormorant, Caspian Snowcock, Lammergeier, Eastern Imperial & Steppe Eagles, Armenian Gull, Wallcreeper, Western & Eastern Rock Nuthatch, Finsch's Wheatear, White-throated Robin, Menetries's, Moustached & Paddyfield Warblers, Pale Rockfinch, White-winged Snowfinch, Radde's Acentor, and (Asian) Crimson-winged Finch.

There's an outside change of Great Bustard and Demoiselle Crane too! But that's not all as we will also visit SW Turkey for the rare Brown Fish Owl as well.
