Day 1  UK - Ibiza  4th June 2019
Plan to arrive in Ibiza this morning from one of the many local airports across the UK - flights generally only take a little over 2 hours. We will meet you upon arrival and then it's just a short 20 minute drive to our wonderful accommodation for our stay on Ibiza - Villa Rosa. This contemporary house is set in wonderful gardens with a fantastic pool, the house has 6 bedrooms, is full of light and sunny space with hotel-style design and luxury in every room. The main living space is hugely impressive with 3 sets of patio doors & windows, and there's a fine dining table inside and out where we can enjoy our meals. And it's just a short drive of a few minutes to nearby restaurants if we decide to eat out. After lunch we will visit one or two sites to see Audouin's Gulls feeding and hopefully get some great photos, before visiting another coastal location where Scopoli's and Balearic Shearwaters often congregate in the late afternoon. Night in Ibiza.

Day 2  Ibiza
The fields around our villa are worth an early morning walk as it is often possible to get outstanding views and photos of Firecrests here, whilst Eurasian Stone-Curlew can usually be spotted in the flower-filled orchards and the recently split Mediterranean Flycatcher usually puts in an appearance in our garden. However, the focus of today will be to check out a series of locations for the endemic Balearic Warbler. This will be breeding time but we will be able to sit amongst the Maquis scrub-covered hillsides and watch several pairs from a safe distance, going about their daily routine. We can also see Booted Eagle, Yellow-legged Gull, Balearic Woodchat Shrike, Thekla and Greater Short-toed Larks, Zitting Cisticola, Cetti's Warbler, Sardinian Warbler and Balearic Red Crossbill during the day.

One of the best birding sites in Ibiza is the saltpans and scrub at Las Salinas, and is probably our best bet to find a local rarity, with possibly a lingering Collared Pratincole or Temminck's Stint present. There may well be Greater Flamingo, Black-winged Stilt and Kentish Plovers present as well. Night in Ibiza.

Day 3  Ibiza - UK - End of Tour - 6th June 2019
Hopefully you have a late flight so we can spend some more time admiring Audouin's Gull or Balearic Warbler, or re-check the nearby marshes. Or maybe just have a swim in the pool, visit the beach or go walking in the countryside before transferring to the airport for return flights to the UK and the end of the tour.
